Oakdale was founded in the early 1990's by Anna Nicholas.  Anna passionately believed in providing a low cost service to the animals in the area and, initially, treated all species large and small. Anna also founded a Charity (Merrylegs Charitable Trust) to provide homes for animals that needed them.  The profits from Oakdale went to set up the Charity and the Practice still donates significant funds to them today. Anna sadly died in 2021 and Dr. Frances Henson MRCVS and Mrs Ruthy Rogers RVN are now the Directors.
